Description
Jewelry and metalsmithing at Syracuse is concerned with the development of students as artists and designers able to manipulate a variety of metals and tools for aesthetic ends. Candidates have the opportunity to conduct research through individual pursuit based in traditional jewelry and metalsmithing techniques, mixed media and non-traditional approaches. Instruction is one-to-one. Each graduate student is assigned a semiprivate studio housed in a well-equipped facility.
