Description:

This program will provide students with an overview of the fundamental concepts in applied digital automation. The program will explore the convergence of digital technologies with traditional automation processes and highlight the impact of this transformation on industry.

This program explores digital automation foundations such as applications and dashboards; predictive analytics; process automation; sensor and IIOT data management; and generative AI. 

Student Learning Outcomes


1. Identify and describe the conceptual and practical significance of digital automation processes, tools, and techniques.

2. Demonstrate the understanding and application of key technologies used in Digital Automation 

3. Analyze the application of these technologies in various industrial scenarios and define their impact on productivity, efficiency, and innovation.

4. Analyze future trends in digital automation to assess and evaluate the potential implications on industry and society.
